Secondary school teachers are responsible for teaching up to two main subject areas to students aged 12-18 years. To pursue secondary teaching, you need to have appropriate undergraduate qualifications in:

Accounting, Commerce and business studies, Computing, ESL, Economics, English, Film and Television, History, Languages other than English, Mathematics, Music, Personal development and physical education, Physics, Science, Technology, Visual Arts

Or another approved subject area.

Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) (Mathematics) (Technology) (Visual Arts)

4 years full time
Minimum of 80days professional experience
