曼彻斯特大学语言最新更新，再补充说明一下要点：
1.曼彻斯特大学新增接受的语言考试Pearson Versant English Placement Test (VEPT)，需要学生提供近期的语言考试成绩给学院来申请这个VEPT考试，申请VEPT的语言成绩可以是最近的雅思托福或者中国大学英语四六级等。学院审核完学生语言成绩后，会发考试ID和考试链接（有效期一个月）
VEPTStudents who want to take this test route must contact their academic School and provide their most recently available English language test (taken within the last 2 years) for ID verification purposes. This can either be a Vouch List qualification certificate (e.g IELTS, TOEFL, PTE) or their most recently taken CET-4 or CET-6 with a pass grade. Once requested, a test ID number (TIN) will be allocated to the student by the academic school at no cost, which will be sent to the student’s personal email address (agents will be notified that the student has received this by the academic school). The student must complete the examination within a month of receiving the test link. Once completed, the student should notify the academic school, who will examine the results. Candidates who successfully complete the VEPT test with a sufficient score will be invited to take the UoM Written Test. 2.10周和6周线上语言课程的申请deadline延长一周（deadline请看下面原文），学校建议学生在截止日期前先申请语言课程，一旦提供了符合要求的语言成绩就会开始审理语言课申请。过了deadline再补充语言成绩的学生，学校就不保证语言课位置。
Pre-sessional Reminder As you already know, the University Language Centre’s 10 and 6 week Pre-sessional courses will be taught online in summer 2020. These online course will included live learning sessions, along with integrated learning sessions which will take place either individually or in small groups. Further details can be found at www.manchester.ac.uk/presessional. Pre-sessional application deadlines have extended by 1 week to allow students more time to submit their applications. We are aware that some testing centres are now reopening in China and applicants may not be able to submit their test scores before the application deadline. In these circumstances, we would advise you to submit an application before the deadline date. Subject to availability we will consider applications once the test results are available, although places after the deadline cannot be guaranteed. Application deadlines are:
10 week Pre-sessional course 22nd May 2020
6 week Pre-sessional course 19th June 2020
