美国大学 本科可以提供CONDITIONAL OFFER.针对学术成绩达到入学要求，但是语言成绩没有合格的学生。

An offer of conditional admission means that you meet our academic qualifications but your English language proficiency requirement falls slightly below our minimum requirement (see below). If you achieve our minimum proficiency requirement within a maximum of two semesters, you will be fully admitted to American University.
To be considered for conditional admission, you must apply and submit all the criteria as listed below, including TOEFL, IELTS or PTE scores:
- Completed application form, including essay
- Academic records
- Two academic letters of recommendation
- CV or resume
- Demonstrated English proficiency (minimum TOEFL iBT 61/paper based 510, IELTS 5.5 or PTE 44)-至少要求达到T61分
- Completed Certification of Finances form and bank letter
- Application Fee of U.S.$60.00
To be offered full admission to AU, your application must include all items listed in the checklist above, plus official minimum scores on one of the following: 要想被美国大学完全录取，要求达到T80分
- TOEFL scores of 550 (paper based) or 80 (iBT); or
- IELTS composite score of 6.5; or
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 53 or higher; or
- SAT I Critical Reading scores of 530 or higher; or
- ACT (with Writing Test) scores with an English sub-score of 23 or higher; or
- Successful completion of the Intensive English Language Program, through level 112, at ELS Language Center, Washington, D.C.
Please note that students admitted conditionally are not eligible for AU merit awards (partial scholarships) at any time during study.
