解读英国留学顶尖时尚教育

时尚的是一种精致而认真的生活方式，它不仅仅可以表现在着装上，也可以反应在家具上，甚至是一只手表。当追求时尚，张扬个性成为一种潮流的时候，一个庞大的产业也悄然的兴起——时尚产业。时尚产业包含了时尚传媒、时尚设计、产品制作、时尚营销、品牌管理等一个完整的产业链。英国伦敦是世界时尚之都，美国、欧洲的众多时尚品牌公司都将总部和设计中心设在了伦敦。据统计截止到2010年英国的时尚产业的总产值已经达到了445亿英镑之巨。而全世界平均每个家庭会拿出总收入的6%做为时尚开销。时尚投资已经成为了人们生活不可缺少的一部分。

英国的时尚教育在世界可以说是站在最前沿的。从时尚设计到时尚品牌管理；从国际时尚营销到数字时尚等等——英国院校开了很多时尚相关的专业。英国高校的时尚专业都为整个业界源源不断的补充着新鲜的血液。一大批独具个性的设计大师在这里诞生，一个个时尚品牌从这里走向世界。下面推荐一些顶尖的学校及专业：

1. University of Southampton

MA Design

Management pathways

Advertising Design Management；Design Management；Fashion and Textile Marketing；Fashion Management；Luxury Brand Management

IELTS 6.5 不需要作品集

MA Design: Fashion Management

Preferred academic background: business studies (including marketing, management and international business/ trade), social sciences, economics, accounting, english language, fashion design (or fashion engineering)

MA Design: Fashion & Textile Marketing

Students are encouraged from a wide variety of disciplines, including marketing. This pathway is open to management based students without an arts portfolio or to students from arts, humanities, social sciences, engineering and science backgrounds.

Luxury Brand Management

Entry Requirements

• A good honours degree, minimum 2:1

• Minimum of two years work experience in a relevant area

• A personal statement that portrays a passion to study and work in Luxury Brand

Management, that sets out a vision of your future career

• International/EU students - minimum IELTS 6.5 or equivalent

2. University of Manchester

International Fashion Retailing（Fashion Consumer pathway） MSc

Applications from candidates with academic backgrounds in Marketing, Management, and Arts and Social Science (combinations of English, History, Languages, Politics, Psychology) related disciplines (minor or major) are particularly welcomed. Other academic backgrounds are also considered, including Fashion Management, Media, Culture and Society and other multi-disciplinary subjects

Entry Requirements

A first or upper second class degree (or equivalent) in design or a business related discipline. Other qualifications and relevant work experience may also be taken into consideration.
