简介 （Introduction）：

位于加拿大第一大城市多伦多，成立于1959年，约克大学在权威的英国“泰晤士报”的2015全球著名大学中排名225，其人文社会学科专业排名全球前100；在2016年泰晤士报对加拿大大学毕业生就业的专项排名中高居前5；舒立克商学院在2015年“金融时报”的世界商学院排名中排名加拿大第1；奥斯古德霍尔法学院是加拿大规模最大、历史最悠久和排名最好的法学院；其艺术学院许多专业包括表演和电影等都是加拿大排名最高的, 被纽约时报称为“北方的茱莉亚”。另外，约克拥有加拿大唯一的空间工程专业，是美国航空航天局（NASA）火星登陆计划的加拿大合作伙伴。约克每年向学生提供海量带薪实习的工作机会，带薪实习项目参与学生的人数在加拿大各大学名列前茅，带薪实习的学生平均年工资高达3.8万加币。

Located in Toronto (the biggest city of Canada), Canada’s economic, financial and cultural capital, and founded in 1959, York University is ranked No.225 in the world by Times；York's Social Science and Humanities programs are ranked within top 100 in the word (Times Higher Education Edition). York is ranked top 5 in terms of Graduate employability by Canadian employers (Times Higher Education Edition). The Schulich School of Business is ranked No.1 among Canadian schools and within Top 20 in the world by The Economist; Osgoode Hall Law School is internationally renowned as one of Canada’s largest and most distinguished law schools (Law Society of Canada); Also, York’s Fine Arts programs (including Performance and Film) are one of the best in Canada, and is called “Julia in North”. Also, York offers Canada’s only Space Engineering program, which is closed partnered with NASA’s Mission to Mars. Also,York operates one of Canada’s largest paid internship and co-op programs, offering large numbers of internship/co-op work opportunities to students every year. The average salary for internship is $38,000 CAD.

York University is the 3rd largest university in Canada，with about 53,000 full time students（including 6,000 international students）and over 7,000 employees. And there are about 280,000 alumni all over the world. The employment rate within half year after graduation is as high as 87%！

Located in the biggest city of Canada, with population over 6 million, and Canada’s business, financial and cultural heart, Toronto, Ontario. – The world’s most livable city for 2014. York has two campuses currently. The main campus Keele，situated in northwestern part of Toronto, is a self-contained community and the largest university campus in the country (550 acres). Glendon Campus is a garden like campus, located at the mid-town Toronto, offering top-quality bilingual education (French/English). In addition, the 3rd campus which is located in the middle of the biggest Chinese community in Canada, York Region, is under construction.

录取要求 （Admission requirement）：

• 语言要求：大部分专业直录IELTS 6.5 或 托福83 （并提供双录取）；工程学学士/舒立克商学院IELTS 7.5 或 托福100

• 参考录取最低平均分(有可能随时变动):文科、健康、环境、艺术类专业：75-78%;理科（数、理、化、生）、计算机科学类专业：80%;商科（BCom）：80%-85%;工程学学士：83%;舒立克商学院： 91%

• Language proficiency requirement:

• Most programs: IELTS 6.5 or TOFEL 83 (conditional admission  is available) 

• Engineering, Schulich: IELTS 7.5 or TOFEL 100

• Suggested minimum GPA: (may change without notice)

• Liberal Arts , Health, Environmental, Arts: 75-78%

• Science(Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Computer Science: 70%

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom): 80%-85%

• Bachelor of Engineering: 83%

• Schulich School of Business (BBA): 91%

学费 (Tuition)：

学分制：约$22,417加币 (大部分专业)

Around CAD 22,417 per year (for most of the majors)

入学时间 （Entry point）：

本科每年有3个入学季节：秋季（9月）、冬季（1月）和夏季（5月）

3 entry points per year for new undergraduate students: Fall (September), Winter (January), and Summer(May)

注：除工程专业和部分艺术专业不接受夏季或冬季入学，其它大部分专业可以3次入学 (Engineering, Fine Arts and some other programs don not offer summer or winter entry)

其它 （Other Information）：

为语言未达到直录要求的同学提供双录取机会，最低可以零语言双录。

York University offers conditional admission for students whose language test scores are below our requirement for direct entry

本科转学分及二学位申请认可学分多，最多可认可90个学分（三年）。

The credits taken in other accredit institutions could be transferred to York, the maximum is 90 credits (approximately 3 years of study)
